This policy explains how Loader Luxe Plastering collects and uses your personal data when you use this website or contact us, and the rights you have under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR), the Data Protection Act 2018 and the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR).
Who we are
Loader Luxe Plastering is the data controller for your personal data. We are registered in England and Wales under company number 17529281, with our registered office at 96 Stonebridge, Orton Malborne, Peterborough, PE2 5NT. You can contact us about privacy at info@loaderluxeplastering.co.uk or on 07515 569399.
What we collect
- Enquiry details. When you use a quote or contact form we collect your name, phone number, email address, postcode, the service you are interested in, your message and the page you sent it from, together with the date and time.
- Consent records. We record that you ticked the consent box on our forms and the choices you make in our cookie banner, with a timestamp and a random identifier, so we can show we have your consent.
- Technical data. To stop spam and abuse we briefly process your IP address. We store only a one way scrambled version of it, never the address itself.
- Analytics and marketing data. Only if you agree in our cookie banner, analytics and advertising tools may collect information about how you use the site. See our Cookie Policy.
- Customer records. If you go ahead with work, we keep the details needed to carry out the job, invoice you and meet our legal obligations.
How we use it and our lawful basis
- To reply to your enquiry and prepare a quote. Lawful basis: taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, and our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us.
- To carry out and invoice work you ask us to do. Lawful basis: performance of a contract.
- To keep accounting and tax records. Lawful basis: legal obligation.
- To protect the website from spam and abuse. Lawful basis: our legitimate interest in keeping the site secure.
- To measure how the site is used and the performance of our adverts. Lawful basis: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
We do not sell your data, and we do not send marketing emails or texts unless you have asked us to.
Who we share it with
We only share your data with trusted providers who help us run the business, under contracts that require them to protect it: our website host, our email provider, the customer relationship management system we use to manage enquiries, and our accountant. If you consent to analytics or marketing cookies, Google and Meta may also process data as described in our Cookie Policy. We may disclose data where the law requires it.
Some providers may process data outside the UK. Where they do, we make sure appropriate safeguards are in place, such as UK adequacy regulations or the International Data Transfer Agreement.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries that do not lead to work: up to 12 months from your last contact with us.
- Customer and job records: 6 years after the end of the financial year in which the work was completed, to meet tax and accounting rules.
- Consent records: for as long as the consent is relevant, and up to 2 years after it was given or changed.
- Scrambled IP data used for spam protection: a few hours.
Your rights
You have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you
- have inaccurate data corrected
- have your data erased
- restrict or object to how we use it
- receive your data in a portable format
- withdraw consent at any time, without affecting anything we did before you withdrew it
